Commitment

The commitment level expected is high.  Every practice is mandatory, and competition attendance is mandatory. There will be two allowed absences for the entire season, for illness, injury or personal reason.  We have limited practice ice, and if we are to compete as a team, we have to practice as a team. Tardiness will not be tolerated, as it is disruptive and unfair to those who make the effort to be there and ready on time. You are expected to have your skates on, be properly dressed (no street clothes, nothing baggy, hair tied back, no jewelry and no gloves) and be ready to work at least 5 minutes before the scheduled practice time. You are expected to be quiet and attentive to your coach and respectful of you teammates. 

Criteria to be met are basic. Aside from being at the proper test level, ice dance experience is helpful, as is USFS Moves in the Field test, but are not mandatory. The most important quality being sought is the desire to work hard and the desire to be a part of a team.
